Concrete volume
Cubic metres for a rectangular slab from length, width and depth.
Formula. cubic metres = length (m) × width (m) × depth (mm) ÷ 1000
Assumptions
- The slab is a rectangle of constant thickness. Steps, thickenings and cross-overs are extra.
- Depth is in millimetres. 100 mm is 0.1 metres.
- No waste is added. If you want an allowance, increase the depth or the area yourself and say so on the quote.
- This is volume only. It is not excavation, mesh, a pump or a concreter's price.
Results are quantities. This calculator does not produce a price.
